Picking the fur-ball up and non to gently setting him on his feet. "Impressive for your first attempt at such a spell." Darkar praised his newest lady. He was greatly impressed by her. Her power was leaps and bounds greater than the trix. He would keep the trix around as they could be useful.

"Thank you, my master," Flora said quietly. She glanced at the professor and then at Darkar. "Should I try a varient on him?" she asked, laughing softly.

"Oh for the love of god," Stella muttered as she hitched her delicate dress up around her knees to avoid having the hem come into contact with the coarse grass on the path leading down to the lake. Talking as though her boyfriend was present to hear her tirade, Stella carried on, "The things I do for you, Brandon . . . the things I do for you. Look at me! Wandering around at night in dirt and rocks in high heels - that weren't inexpensive, mind you - and wearing a couture dress . . . and all just because Layla said you were out here. If she's wrong, I swear, I'll strangle her - so for Layla's sake, you better be out here." Screeching loudly when she stumbled on a large rock, Stella groaned. "I am not cut out for this. No, I am a princess and I belong in buildings were there are marble floors and thick carpets and . . ."
Her words trailing off, an amused smile lit Stella's face as she realized how silly she must sound should anyone happen to overhear her. "Oh, bother," she laughed. "Let them think whatever they want - I'm in love! And it's Valentine's Day and I should be able to do as I please." Calling out in a cheery sing-song voice, Stella giggled as she drew closer to the lake, "I'm coming, cupcake!"

Flora leaned against Darkar, feeling a vein start to throb as she heard Stella's insanely chipper voice. "I wonder how the pretty pretty princess is going to feel when she sees what her pretty pretty boyfriend looks like now."
She glanced over at Palladium, trying to see how he reacted to seeing who her new friend was.

Horrified at what Flora was doing to someone who she considered a friend, Palladium closed his eyes briefly, reminding himself for the umpteenth time that this was not Flora. Turning his attention back to the dark figures before him, Palladium grimaced. Darkar. Of course it would be Darkar behind all of this. The coward never could show his face - until now, this is. But he'd always had someone else do his dirty work for him; yes, he should have known that Darkar was the only one who would think about possessing a fairy.
Grateful that for the moment neither Flora nor Darkar could hurt him, thanks to the shield spell undoubtedly cast for Cora - after all, who else would have known to do so? - Palladium decided that it was probably best not to speak, to encourage them to continue their lowly ways.

Flora approached Palladium and stopped before him, a wicked smile gracing her tanned features. The kiss she was about to bestow had dark magic woven in it - with a slow acting spell that would slowly, oh so slowly, turn him into a beastial creature. That is, if that golden orange shield didn't interfere.

Not a complete imbecile, Palladium knew from watching Brandon transform before his eyes into a beast that should Flora try to kiss him, as she apparently was about to, he too would share the same fate as the specialist. Determined to not let that happen, as Flora leaned in, Palladium pushed her back, painfully noting that the shield around him would scorch her skin badly, but nevertheless, he also knew that he had no other choice.

Flora looked quite angry as the barrier had interfered. She rubbed her exposed skin, not happy about the burning it caused. She'd find a way to get the curse on him - if it was the last thing she'd do. He deserved to be a beast - after how he treated her.

Ecstatic that her spell repelled Flora, Cora could have laughed out loud with joy. Instead, she settled for a broad smile - after all, it was more discreet and thus more safe than making some loud hoopla.
As several moments more passed and as Cora continued to watch Palladium remain unharmed, she felt a swell of energy rise in her body - almost as though knowing that she had a responsibility to protect her friend had obliterated her exhaustion. Smiling defiantly, Cora arched a brow as she thought to herself, "You can try all you like Flora but you won't be able to hurt him - not now, not ever."

Darkar just stood back and studied this light emitting from the one Flora wanted to play with. "Flora, that jewel I gave you. Add that into your spell and try it again. You should be strong enough then. If not I will help, but this is your pet so I will not interfere." Darkar indicated for her to try once again.

Brandon's ear perked at the sound of Stella's voice. She finally broke away from what ever plotting she had been doing, now they could spend Valentine's together. And then he remembered that he was no longer human. Brandon could not bare for Stella to see him like this. It would scare her. Brandon tried to think of someway that he could keep Stella safe away from Flora and the other thing. He would not be able to bare it if anything happened to her.
"Stella, go get help." Brandon yelled, he was starting to sound more human these words at least sounded semi-human.

"As my master wishes," Flora cooed and once again approached Palladium, the Gloomix on her uniform glowing as she stepped before him. Once again, she leaned into kiss him, willing the Gloomix to interfere with the barrier's protection so she could lay down her curse.

Hearing a gravelly voice - that sounded almost like her Brandon - call out her name, Stella paused in place for a moment, not moving. The voice had said something, but she hadn't been able to make it out. Well then, she'd just have to get a bit closer, wouldn't she?
Taking a few dainty steps forward, Stella called out questioningly, "Sweetie, is that you? What's wrong with your voice-"
As she walked out into the clearing and immediately saw Darkar, Stella let out a startled shriek. Seeing Flora standing nearby, leaning in toward the professor, but not noticing that she was under Darkar's control, Stella cried out, "Flora! What are you doing? Don't you see that, that thing is right behind you?! Now isn't the time to be all kissy-kissy with your heart's not-so-secret desire!"
Darting her eyes around quickly, Stella asked shakily, not noticing that Brandon had been transformed into a beast, "Where's Brandon? Where is he? What did you do to him Darkar, you big creep?! Tell me!" Without waiting for a response, Stella whirled on Palladium and demanded, "Do something, would you! You're the teacher here! Handle this!"

"Poor Princess Stella, so clueless," Flora said, turning to face Stella. "I know Darkar's here. He's here because I summoned him after a fashion. He came bringing a present for me." She laughed quietly. "He's my master, Stella, and he's just perfect."

At Flora's words, Stella sputtered in absolute bafflement. "Say what?" she screeched loudly. But as she stared at Flora, it suddenly became very clear what she was talking about - how she could have been so stupid not to notice, Stella wasn't sure. It was all right in front of her eyes: Flora's darkened fairy form, her strangely golden eyes -
Taking a few dancing steps backward, Stella waved her hands in front of her as though to ward Flora off. "Stay away from me or else I'll just have to fight you and you don't want that, Flora! You really don't!"
