“Yeah, me too,” Bloom admitted, her face falling. She felt guilty enough about what had happened with Diaspro and the trouble they had all gotten into over her actions; she didn’t need the reminder. She was determined to play this one, well, logically. No rash conclusions. No acting on her suspicions until they had sufficient proof to back them up. It didn’t matter how sure she was, she would behave.
“I just hate to think what she’s planning now that I’m back. And Sky...”
Trailing off, Bloom looked over at Techna with a bit of a sheepish look. “I know, I know. No jumping to conclusions. But there’s nothing wrong with being swift with the logic, right?”

At this remark, Tecna's lips twisted upward into an actual smile as she said with a soft laugh, "No, nothing wrong with that at all."
Turning back to her computer screen, Tecna, deciding that the site wasn't particularly helpful, exited out of it as she said, "Might I suggest, though, that while we are searching for some answers on Christine, you do keep a very close eye on Sky." Glancing over at her friend, she continued, "What I mean is, if Christine is indeed some kind of witch, Sky is in danger. But I believe so as long as you continue to remind him that you're back, he'll be better off. Likely, your presence will force him to think quite often about all the things you two used to do together and perhaps remind him of what he feels for you and in the process, weaken whatever hold Christine has over him." Giving Bloom a stern look, Tecna emphasized, "But remember - that is a big 'if.' We still have no firm proof that Christine is a witch and until we do, we must not act as though we do."

Listening to Tecna’s advice, Bloom was soon smiling widely at her friend. It was exactly what she had been thinking, which only proved that what she was thinking was logical! True love could conquer all, she just knew it! If she could keep reminding Sky of what they had shared, of what they had meant to each other, then the spell would have to weaken.
And maybe, if she could get him alone in the right atmosphere without the possibility of Christine interrupting them, then she could actually break the spell. I could work, she knew it could!
“I’ll behave, I promise,” Bloom said, crossing her heart with her finger. “And I totally agree with your suggestion. I know he hasn’t forgotten, and no magic is strong enough to destroy love completely, right? If I can just work on rekindling it, then maybe...”
