OOC: small note that Flora left prior to her heading for the train.
Hey gang... I need to go away for a bit. I don't know when I'll be back. I need to get my emotions in check. Layla, would you explain to Chatta that I need to be alone and that I'll be fine? I don't want her to worry unnecessarily over me.
No, this has nothing to do with what any of you did. It's more of something I need to do. And please, leave it at that.
And if for some reason Professor Palladium sees this... It's not your fault. It's mine. Just forget what I told you. I guess I was hoping for something that could never be.
Love always, Flora
A small hair ribbon and a small gold ring were left on the note. The ring looped through the ribbon and were tied in a tight bow.

Layla picked up the note and read it slowly. Closing her eyes briefly, she put it down. She was torn as to what to do. On one level, she respected her friend's request to be alone, but still, she couldn't help but wonder if she could be in trouble. And if Flora was in trouble, then it would be best if Griselda or some other teacher knew. So she should give this note to someone, right? Still, she was reluctant - Flora didn't seem like she was in any danger and maybe she really just did need time to think.
Firmly, Layla decided that she would go to see Griselda and tell her that Flora had to go back home suddenly for a family emergency . . . and then, well, she would cross her fingers and hope that Flora returned to Alfea soon.
Rereading the note, Layla squinted at the crossed out words. Barely she could make out the words - something about Professor Palladium.
And then it clicked. Flora was leaving because of the professor . . . Flora must have gone to see him this morning like she had said she would last night. Layla felt her anger growing - she had the sneaking suspicion that this was the professor's fault. Clenching her hands she decided that it might be best to skip Potionology class this morning; if she saw the professor she might just have to attack him.
