"Okay, let me see if I have this straight," Flora started, massaging her left temple with her left hand. "The person we know as Brandon is really named Sky, but he really is your squire, and you," she gestured at Brandon, "really are the prince but are really Brandon, and not Sky. Why the hell did you switch names? Please tell me there's a very good explanation."
And to think she had thought the Day of the Royals was going to be fun. Hell, this was a headache. "Okay, with that in mind, how the hell does Diaspro fit into the picture? Is she betrothed to Brandon or Sky or what?"
She cast a quick glance over to the feminine appearing specialist and tilted her head. "And why does Christopher look like he wants to kill you and Sky, Brandon?"

Chris stared at the two boys. Oh, how they pissed her off. She really disapproved of their mind games. Innocent people were hurt when that happened. It would be a long time before she trusted Sky and Brandon again. Okay, maybe she was being a smidge hypocritical but this was about Sky and Brandon, not her so that was okay. Sort of. Her lie didn't endanger people the way their lie did.

"There was an attempt on my life. So we did what we thought was best. Sky and I both knew that I could never play the bodyguard well enough to fool them." Brandon started to explain. "Is there a better place to hide then out in the open, no one will be looking for a Prince Sky."

"I haven't lied about anything but my name. I don't know about your trust but I would like to think that it takes more then me giving you the wrong name to loose your trust. We thought it best that the fewer people who knew the safer I would be yes but also the safer everyone else would be. No one could slip up by mistake if they didn't know."

"Wha' about Bloom an' Stella?" she bit out. "Ya lied tae them." Okay, yes, she was feeling just a smidge hypocritical but her homeworld wasn't as powerful as Sky and Brandon's. "An' wha' about Disa? Ya lied tae her too."

Brandon sighed, "Yes I did lie to them and I regret it. That is something I wish I could take back but I did what I thought was best at the time and several unexpected things have happened since then." Brandon said hoping she wasn't going to make him go further into his lies.

Flora just watched as Sky and Brandon's teammate ripped into them. Why was Christopher so angry with them? It made absolutely no sense really. She thought that Christopher would be understanding but this - this was madness.
