Beginning of the End

Tash glared at him, she didn't want to die but she also wasn't afraid of death, growing up as she had it was a common occurrence that she'd grown to accept. However she wasn't going to let Psi hurt anyone else. The loss of Eris-an was the last straw, Tash was going to find some way to stop him and if she happened to make life miserable for him in the mean time all the better. "I will protect those I love and find a way to stop you." Tash swore.

Psi grinned. "I expect nothing less. So, will you be my queen, or do I have to go on the hunt?"

[tashii]

"As far as your concerned I never stopped being." Tash pointed out, not seeing anyway to stop it and keep her family safe. "So wouldn't that make this whole wedding thing pointless?"

[psi]

"My foolish cousin was king when he annulled our marriage. As such it still holds. I do not see it as true, but even king myself I will rewed you, and the priest will tell no one, so everyone will not think otherwise. You and I were always married." he started to walk to the door. "Now I suggest you get dressed, unless you want to wed in your nightgown" He tapped three times, hard and with 3 clicks of locks the door finally opened. After he left a young, rather familiar girl scurried in. The door closed and three more clicks at the locks were replaced.

"I don't want to get married at all." Tash hissed as she ignored May and finally moved from the wall to walk to the window and blindly stared out.

May looked down at the floor for a moment, before taking off and hugging Tash tightly. "Mistress Tash, Mistress Tash!" she was sobbing. "What has happened Mistress Tash? Lord Psi.. I. I mean His.. Highness, has changed. He.. He isn't nice anymore, he doesn't care anymore" May clung tightly to Tash, truly scared.

Strengthening her shields before May's fear caused Tash to have her own break down, she reached down and unconsciously rubbed a hand along the girl's back in a soothing manner. "I don't know why he is like he is." Tash honestly said, she might have an idea or two but nothing she would willingly tell the girl.

it took several minutes, but may finally let go of Tash, wiping at her eyes she looked up at her. "He.. Told me to get you ready.. Since.. The robes are so different.. than the corsets. He.. will be mad if I don't"

"I don't particularly care what I wear. I'm not doing this because I want to." Tash murmured unable to keep the bitterness out of her voice as she reached up and touched the window looking through the bars of her cage.

Leaning her forehead against the wall, Tash closed her eyes as a tear ran down her cheek, "Ris." she whispered to herself before strengthening her will; she couldn't stand more blood on her hands. And Tash wasn't sure if Psi had lost it enough to kill May if Tash showed her hatred of Psi to the girl. "Let's get this over with." Tash sighed in a resigned tone.

May was quick, too scared to make Psi wait any longer than he had to. The new robe like dresses where much easier to put on, and even May was happy about that as after only 10 minutes she was tying the last sash and finishing Tash's hair. "Mistress Tash, I'm scared of him now" she said softly, she still loved Psi, like she knew she always would. But he had gotten rather.. terrifying. "If.. you ever get away, please take me with you" she whispered, before bowing and standing next to the door.

Tash blinked and studied May in the mirror on the vanity before her, so May was looking for a way to leave Psi as well. Tash knew that she'd never be able to leave anyone much less a child in Psi's hands so she nodded to May.

Tash then got to her feet and moved back to the window to once again stare out. He could damn well come and get her if he was going to force her to do it knowing she hated him. Hearing the clicks of the doors once more Tash watched the door open with the refection in the window still refusing to face him.

As May scurried away Psi held back his sigh as he entered. He walked right up to Tash at the window. "Everything is ready" he said, grinning slightly again, his momentary almost sanity slipping away. "And I even have a wedding present for you my Queen" he grabbed her arm under the robes and started to pull her away from the window. "behave and you can have Demor after I destroy them" he said simply

Tash looked at him in utter disgust, barely resisting the urge to slap him she settled for tugging her arm out of his hold. As long as May was still in the room there was nothing she could do to Psi without risking an innocent life. "There is only one thing I want from you." Tash hissed at him.

"Ohh dear me, I do hope you calm that temper. Unhappy brides are looked down upon, and as King, I cannot have that happen" Psi said, taking her arm again, this time with more force he practicly dragged her the length of the castle to the throne room, where the priest stood, waiting. Psi pulled her up, and the priest started. Ordered to make this a fast wedding and repeat nothing of what happened under fear of death, he did as he was told. Soon he was turning to Tash.
"In strict acordance to Muna tradition, do you take this man to be your husband forever unless death do you two part?" he asked.
Psi glanced at Tash out of the corner of his eye.

Tash looked down and away as she mentally ran through her options; to once again find that Psi had her effectively trapped. there was nothing she could that wouldn't endanger those around her. "I... I do." Tash finally choked out, refusing to look at Psi.
