"But you don't think he'll survive, do you?" Mali sighed, knowing the likely hood of Eris-an surviving that was slim to none. They both knew that the boy had already lived longer then was humanly posible.

Mali nodded and closed her eyes for a second. "Thank you for being completely honest with me about this, if any of Eris-an friends ask about this could I ask you to not tell them? If they find out that Eris-an might not survive they will go after the one who did this. And that will be disastrous for everyone, they aren't prepared to deal with that yet."
