Christine glanced up at him and blushed. She hadn't heard that nickname coming from him in a long time. She gave him one of her rare true smiles - ones that weren't ever seen by outsiders and people who weren't close to her.

Relieved to see that Christine was starting to look more like her old self, Sky lowered himself back down into his seat as he tossed the remaining napkins down onto the table. With an amused smile, Sky looked at Christine as he said lightly, "See? I'm not entirely useless, contrary to what Riven may try to make you think."

Christine brought her hand up to her mouth and laughed quietly behind it - a trait that usually endeared herself to people or irritated the hell out of people, in Sky's case - it probably irritated him more. "I suppose you have a point," she said lightly, lowering her hand so he could see her smile.

Returning the smile, Sky turned to look at Riven as he said with a raised brow, clearly referring to the fight they had had, "But you always means well, don't you, Riven?""

Christine looked at the smiling - or nearly smiling - faces of her boys. She brought her glass up and smiled. "Here's a toast to the best team Red Fountain's ever put out," she said, smiling a true smile of sheer contentment.
