Having caught her breath, gathered what was left of her engery and all her determination. She swam to the shore and headed towards Chris and the boys; hoping that they boys had taken Chris somewhere safe.

OCC:This should be back when Tash and Kaelin ran after the merk.
Staring after the black haired girl as she ran off. Brandon shook his head and turned to Chris er Christine. She needed his help more. Picking Christine up out of Riven's arms Brandon quickly headed for the ship to take her back to Red Fountain. Brandon prayed that Saladin had someway to heal her. Not looking to see if Riven, Helia or Timmy had followed.
Reaching the ship, Brandon entered it and layed Christine down in one of the compartments. Pulling out his earplugs as he found a blanket and covered her.

Christine barely reacted to Brandon's picking her up or carrying her or laying her down in one of the compartments. She remained fast asleep. Her lips parted a little when the blanket was draped over her, and she could feel herself starting to get a little warmer. She had been so cold - so very cold.

OCC: yep I know that this is not how it is done but damn it I am a First Aid Attendant. We will tend to the injured first and come back for the others. I also took over Saladin. Don't know if we have a person playing him.
Brandon was in a dilemma he knew that he was not to leave any of his team mates behind but Christine desperately needed help. Finally trusting that his team could care for themselves. Brandon decided that Christine needed medical aid now. Calling Red Fountain while he was starting up the ship. He could deliver her to Saladin, who would have a cure or know who to contact.
"Control Room"
"Saladin"
"Who is calling?"
"It's an emergency and it's regarding the Sandmerks."
"One moment please."
"i don't have ti..."
"Saladin speaking"
"Professor, Christine was overcome with the noise of the sand merks and has gone cold and clammy."
"What of the sand merk?"
"I brought her to the ship and left the others to the sand merk. There are also two other people fighting the sand merk. A girl and a male."
"I am sending another team to assist you. I will come with the team and bring Christine back here."
"Thank you professor."
"Check on Christine and then help your team."
"Yes sir."
Hanging up. Brandon when back to check on Christine, noticing that her color looked slightly better, Brandon began to hope that she would just snap out of it. "I won't be gone long. Christine. Hold in there. Saladin is on his way." Brandon told her before he went to find his team mates.

*You can take your ear plugs out now, Kaelin* Tash told her brother as she approached him. Pulling out her own ear plugs, "It's dead. I left it on the bottom of the lake." Her eyes glistening from tears. Brushing away the tears, she headed to where they had last seen Chris.
Approaching the site, they saw that Chris was gone but the men where still standing there.
Walking up to the men. "How is Chris doing?" she asked to no one imparticular hoping that someone would answer.

Approching the group he saw that the strangers had rejoined the group. Apon closer examination he saw that the man was taking out his ear plugs. Making the judgement call that if they were taking out thier earplugs then it was okay to take his out.
The first question out of his mouth. "Where is the sandmerk?"

"The merk is currently sitting at the bottom of the lake. Now about my question, since the rest of your team is decidedly ignoring me. Where and how is Christine?" Tash asked a little miffed that she was being ignored.

"It's Tash right?" at her nod, he told her "Christine is safe on the ship with the sandmerk taken care of. We will take her back to Red Fountain for help."

"We're coming with you." Kaelin stated before introducing himself. "Name's Kaelin, and you all ready know Tash." offering a hand.

Shaking the offered hand, Brandon replied "I am Brandon, and these people are Riven" pointing to the purple haired male. "Helia," the darked haired one, "and Timmy. We can talk on the way to the ship."

If Brandon had hoped that Christine would snap out of it, his hopes would be dashed on the very stones of the lake when it appeared that she would not be snapping out of it anytime soon. Her eyes closed tighter and she turned her head ever so slightly, almost as if she was wincing from a bad dream. A faint little moan escaped her lips.

"Let's go." he announced before heading to the ship. Looking toward the ship to told Tashii with a grin, "Looks, like I am going to Red Fountain sooner than I planed."
