Mali laughed, and made her way back over to him. "Well you might be cute as a mouse." Mali said again as she leaned down and kissed him. "But I definitely prefer you just the way you are."

"Our family, dear heart," he corrected. "And I believe so, but you remember that Celise found the mouse and gave it to me. There had to be a reason why Celise found that mouse in the first place - and it wasn't just because her cat was playing with it."

"Well it would explain a few things about said mouse. Like how it kept appearing and is still alive after all these years." Mali pointed out trying not to giggle at the idea of Jules with the mouse as a pet.
