"All I have to do is scream and I'm sure Sky will come running and kick your ass, Helia," Christine said, her voice shaking, panicky.

"Then I'll have to make sure you don't scream." Ares smirked, leaning closer and seriously invading Chris's personal space.

A scream broke free of Christine's lips - fear coloring her features. What the hell was going on with Helia?

Ares quickly grabbed Chris, pulling her hard against him with one hand and using the other to cover her mouth. "No fair spoiling the game so early in it." The air around his body started glowing, growing hot. His eyes were shining so bright that the pupils had disappeared.

Ares sighed, brushing the bangs from Chris's face almost lovingly. "It's your own damn fault." he growled at her limp form before picking her up totally.

Christine just lay there, not a perfect fit in Helia's arms. The only person who she fit perfectly in their arms was her prince. A troubled expression graced her pale features as events taking place elsewhere played out in her head.

Ignoring the look on Chris face Ares disappeared from her room with a red flash.
