Starting to understand

[kevyn]

Suddenly everything clicked, "Wow. Things suddenly make sense now." She paused a second, "You have a father? Alive?"

[tashii]

"Well I'm glad this is starting to make scenes to one of us and apparently I do. He's over at Alfea." Tash said still finding the idea of a father, *her* father more then a little surreal.

[kevyn]

"Really? Huh." Kevyn said, "Want me to explain how things, at least as far as we can figure without Psi actually telling us, went?" She asked.

[tashii]

"No I want to remain clueless and confused about the whole thing. I still have gaps in my memories of course I want to know."

[kevyn]

Kevyn laughed, it was good to have the old Tash back. "Then we better find a place to sit down. This is going to take a while." She said finding a comfortable spot to sit. She started the story right after Tash joined her, they sat for what seemed like forever while Kevyn explained everything as best she could starting from the first day Tash started acting strange right until now.

"Bloody hell," was all that Tash could say as her mind took this information and added to what she knew, it certainly cleared up a few things. But it also enraged her more, not only did Psi go through her memories but because of this damn spell it had caused her to hurt two of the most important people in her life. She couldn't remember any of the masked ball but knew that Kevyn wouldn't lie about such a thing.

[kevyn]

"Does that help any?" Kevyn asked, concerned about how Tash was going to react.

[tashii]

"Plenty." Tash softly snarled, getting to her feet Tash started to pace the Observatory, trying to burn off some of the anger before she hurt something.

[kevyn]

Kevyn stood taking a defensive position. "Come on Tashii. Let's burn some of that steam." she challenged grinning.

[tashii]

Her gaze swinging back to Kevyn when Kevyn spoke, Tash didn't even ask if she was sure about it. "Arena." Tash said as she turned about face and headed down stairs. the small part of her that wasn't dying to hit something was grateful she didn't run into anyone, she really wasn't sure if she would be able to keep her anger in much longer. She knew that she was going to have to physically exhaust her body if she was going to keep from projecting her anger.

Reaching the arena Tash grabbed a long stick and tossed it in the direction of Kevyn and pick up two smaller sticks of her own. Walking to the middle of the arena, Tash turned and faced Kevyn and waited for her to make the first move.

Kevyn caught the stick Tash tossed her. Stretching slightly she took up her defensive postion. Staring at her 'enemy' gauging her body movements and tried to decide what offense would work best in her advantage. Finding what she was looking for Kevyn struck, quick and sure, already working to compensate for the inevitable counter move.

[tashii]

As expected Tash raised one stick and blocked Kevyn's attack, while using the other to try and sweep Kevyn's feet out from under her. Only to find that her blow fell short of the mark. Tash backed off before taking her turn at the offensive and moved in once again.

[kevyn]

Kevyn grunted under the force that Tash exerted as she blocked the blow with her arm. Countering she swept up her leg, using her staff for balance, to try and kick the other girl.

[tashii]

Using the momentum from Kevyn's kick, Tash used it to help roll her over Kevyn's leg. Landing with a thump, Tash pulled her feet back under her and crouched waiting to see what Kevyn would do next.

[kevyn]

Kevyn picked herself up off the floor, having lost her balance when Tash grabbed her leg, "Done already?" Using her foot she flipped her staff back into her hands. "Come on Tash." Kevyn taunted.
