"I think that thing has a thing for my sister." Kaelin admitted as he headed for his room to clean up the blood before any of the teachers saw it.

"I wouldn't worry too much about it for the time being." Quinn said, "Tash is pretty good at taking care of herself," He clapped his friend on the shoulder. "But that doesn't mean we can't keep an eye on him." Quinn laughed, "And if worse comes to worse I'm sure, between the two of use, we could convince Kevyn to do a little 'reconnaissance.' for us."

"Yeah she can but I don't trust Psi." Kaelin said, "If it comes down to it we won't have to convince her. Kevyn would volunteer." Kaelin had to smile as he said that. Kevyn and Quinn were the closest thing either he or Tash had to best friends; and as such they would do anything for each other.

Quinn laughed at that already picturing his sister storming into their dorms and demanding to be included in their scheme. And of course he's gladly allow it.
Even though they'd only spent a short time together the year Kaelin and Tash's mom visited their planet, they'd all connected in a way, that Kevyn fondly called 'The Twin Thing', that was so special to all of them. There were even times when Quinn often wondered if they didn't act more like family then friends.
