"So there's nothing I can go to get you to change your mind?" Kaelin asked, putting an arm over her shoulders and making a puppy face at her.

Anara laughed, "Nice try Kae, but I'm not going to fall for that this time."

"Fall for what?" Kaelin asked with an innocent look, well about as innocent as he was capable.

"The cutesy look. Oh is that Lrucian silk?" Anara quickly ducked from under Kaelin's arm and made her way over to the fabric shop. "I promised one of my sisters I'd bring her back a bolt of this if I found it." she awed.

"Come on, I'll be your pack horse and eventually you might feel sorry for me under all those packages your going to buy. You can tell me what you got up your sleeve." Kaelin teased as he held open the door for Ana

Anara laughed, "Who knows I just might."

"Then lead on m'lady." Kaelin said as he followed her into the shop, knowing that he would be spending most of the afternoon sitting back and watching her shop.

*Several hours later.*
Anara and Kaelin sat and ordered another set of drinks before heading off home. "So what's with that Bailey girl? I find it hard to believe you'd have a girlfriend that annoying."

"She is not my girlfriend." Kaelin said, "Let me explain about Bailey. As you know my mother is a teacher at Alfea and because of it I have a lot more freedom in my comings and goings at the school then any of the other guys. Mom and Professor Faragonda requested that if I am to have access to the school, I am to be polite and considerate to all the students. Some where along the lines Bailey decided that I'm not acting like most of the guys she has encountered before that she loves me. I can't think of any way to discourage her without insulting her and breaking the promise I made to my mother."

"I can see your problem." Anara said mixing her drink up with her straw, "I also see your solution though."

"So how much longer will you be keeping me in suspense over your solution?" Kaelin inquired he was willing to try just about anything to get Bailey to leave him alone.

Anara shrugged, "Get a girlfriend."

"And just who do you propose to make my girl friend to make Bailey leave me alone?"

"You already know what I'd like to answer to that." Anara shrugged, "but I'm not going to push."

"She's a friend and I'd rather keep her as that and put up with Bailey then take the chance of it back firing."
