Elly blushed. "Yes," she said. "I do believe I did say that, Shai." She followed his lead to the trees. "I thank you kindly for the compliment, along with the dance," 'Shai' said. Helia was enjoying this name. And this girl, 'Helena.' She seems interesting. If he knew her real name.... "Helena, when will you come to tell me your real name?" Helia asked.

"When you come to tell me yours," Elly replied with a little "modern day" sas and attitude. "But even if you do," she continued, "I just may make you wait until midnight."

"I should have seen that coming," he said.

"Well then, I guess you didn't...now did you?" Elly asked teasing. "Now, I'm going to take a stab at this," she started. "Your hair gives it away. You are the poet that loves that fairy, Flora. Are you not?"

"I am guilty as charged," Helia admitted. "It is true. And you, I do not recognize you from under your mask. Your red hair and eyes should have given you away, but I can not tell."

"Well, you shall see the real me at midnight tonight," Elly said teasingly again.

"She went outside, she's still there. If I go out to her this is going to get worse, we still don't know why she doesn't remember me. I have to help her but I don't know if I can do it from here. I know I can't control the emotion but I might be able to give her the extra barrier." Grabbing Kevyn's hand using her as a brace, someone to return to. Kaelin ventured inward, hunting for the connection between himself and Tash. Once he found the connection he mentally reached out to Tash hoping he would reach her in time. Kevyn stood there stunned, Kaelin's presence in this kind of situation usually didn't make things worse. But then again nothing about the last few weeks could be categorized as 'the usual' so for now all she could do was stand there and let Kaelin do what he could from here, all the while hoping that Quinn would find Tash in time to do what Kaelin couldn't. And that was to be the physical anchor for Tash's spirit in this realm before her power overload destroyed her.

Breaking the connection with his sister, Kaelin leaned back against the wall a pained look on his face. "I can't do anymore. I managed to give her the strength she needed to cocoon herself away from the emotions and keep the emotions from leaking too badly. You need to find her and bring her back. Show her the way back and if she refuses force her to come back. I don't know how long she can stay in the void."

She said worredly, keeping a hand on his arm.

"I will be." That was as close as Kaelin was going to admit to not being alright. "Do you think Quinn will be able to bring her back? I don't know if the relationship she remembers with him is strong enough." Kaelin asked not sure if he wanted to hear the truth or something to make him feel better.

"Honestly I don't know. But I'm sure he'll do what he can." Kevyn said trying to reassure her friend.

Quinn found himself wandering toward where the Jac had played. The person he thought had been Jac hadn't but a few well placed questions and he'd found out that's where Tash had been standing last time she'd been seen.
The scene was one he'd kind of expected, Psi was holding and unconsious Tash rather possessivly. Quickly stepping in front of the shorter man, "Give her to me Psi, quickly." he ordered, half hoping that Psi would choose not to be difficult.

OOC: don't mind Flora stood in the shadows, suddenly shy again. She took a deep cleansing breath and steadied herself. She was going to be the proud confident woman that the others knew she could be. She smoothed her cream colored dress, adjusted her mask and made her way through the crowds, pausing every now and again to chat pleasantly with her companions. Her green eyes sparkled with laughter as she laughed politely at something a specialist said when she turned and glanced at the figure standing in the corner. She politely excused herself and made her way over. "Good eve, m'lord," she said quietly, dipping into a curtsy. OOC: tags, Palladium oh, this should be fun XD Pulled out of his thoughts by the greeting, Palladium glanced down to see who was speaking to him. Seeing the cheerful expression on the masked girl's face, Palladium nodded slightly in acknowledgment as he answered, "Good evening." His greeting was somewhat distant, however - and, in his opinion, with good reason. After the mess with Flora, Palladium had sworn to himself that he would never make such a foolish mistake again. Mistake number one had been fraternizing with his students. That simply wasn't going to happen tonight. Tonight he was a supervisor of the dance. That was it.

"Enjoying the dance so far, m'lord?" Flora asked, awarding the man with a warm sunny smile. Her grass green eyes sparkled as she stood before him.

Jac stared in horror at that, marriage.. Marrigae. This was not right, and he would have to tell the others. He forced a smile, "I'm just fine now!" he said. He then bowed to layla, "My lady, I must be going now" He said, and ran off. Stunned at how quickly things had spiraled out of control, Layla hesitated for a moment before she turned and hurried after Jac. Cursing her skirts for slowing her down, Layla finally managed to reenter the ballroom. It was useless, though. As she scanned the crowd, all she could see were masked faces that all looked far too alike for her to be able to distinguish amongst them. With a sigh, Layla slowly backed out of the room and headed outside again. Lowering herself down onto a decorative stone bench, she listlessly kicked her feet against the grass before she reached up behind her head and untied her mask. After what had happened back there, she just wasn't in the party mood. With a dry smile, Layla wondered idly if it was possible for one dance to go by at Alfea without some type of drama. Probably not.
