Christine cleared her throat, as she looked at Bailey. "Tash is of noble blood. She's *my* cousin."

Before they got in the actual mess that was their family tree, Kaelin spoke up. "Bailey how the hell do you seem to know so much about me? It's disturbing. You know what I don't want to know."

"With her the less you know the better so shall we go?" Tash asked those that were included in the invites, having calmed down enough not to try and hurt something. Although she did have a bone or two to pick with Kevyn once Bailey was far far away.

"Please?" Christine asked. "I'd like to spend time with my family, not complete strangers," she added, giving a pointed look at Bailey.

Bailey being a dignitary's daughter from a rather large realm, had never actually been told no she couldn't do something before. Everyone always jumped to attention and did what she wanted when she wanted it.
"I'm not a complete stranger and everyone else here your supposedly related to. So you would be spending it with family, just consider me future family." Bailey sweetly said. More then a little suspicious of Tash and Eris-an, they didn't act like a couple now and they certainly hadn't at the Halloween party.

"There is no way in hell you will ever be considered family." Tash darkly informed Bailey, hoping that someone would find someway to get her to leave. "And for that matter it doesn't matter if we're all related or not, YOUR not coming."

"Well, you don't have to be rude about." Bailey sniffed to Tash, "And I'm not going anywhere, I don't like being lied to and until you apologize; I'm coming with you." Bailey said, knowing the pair before her wouldn't be able to prove to her satisfaction they were telling the truth.

"Love of God, would you leave us the hell alone!" Christine snarled. She was in a poor mood to start with - with all the visions she had been having lately, it had been a drain on her soul. "None of us want you here so please leave before one of us does something they regret."

"Why not go ahead and find us a place to settle? We will catch you up in a moment." Eris-an told Quinn and Anara.
"And how then, Miss Bailey do you expect us to prove something like that?" He asked in referance to her challenge to prove that he and Tash were married. "With us both being very private people it is not something that we like to advertise for the pleasure of the masses so we do not carry any physical evidence on us."

Quinn nodded, taking Anara's hand as they headed back down the path. He was a little shocked when Kevyn joined them, "Shouldn't you be defending your territory?" he teased her.

Kevyn squeezed Kaelin's hand in a signal she was going with them.
At Quinn's question she shrugged, "Why? I know Kaelin loves me and would never let a girl like that into his life willingly." she snickered, "besides Chris and Tash seem to be doing a damn good job of it for me."

Tash was just about pissed enough to go along with the lie Kevyn told Bailey. "Would we let Kevyn dress us up as a paired couple for the Halloween dance if we weren't together?" Tash asked, not out right lying, she hadn't know about the themed thing with her and Ris until she got there so if Bailey assumed that Tash knew what their costumes where before hand, oh well.

Kaelin reluctantly let Kevyn go for her to join her brother. Moving so that he was standing between Christine and Tash incase they did anything overly stupid. He wanted her gone but from past experiance about the only way to do it was have someone force her away by taking her with them or to give her what she wanted.

Completely ignoring Christine, Bailey pursed her lips as she thought about how to answer Eris-an's question. Deciding to answer Tash's question first, "Well you might have. I mean what type of couple would go to a Halloween party as a Sultan and his slave? As for you, Eris-an. There is always physical evidence of people being a couple or not. The two of you don't even act like a couple."

"How are they supposed to act like a couple if he goes to Red Fountain and she goes to Alfea? Kind of a distance there. And not every couple is bloody touchy-feely. Do you see Sky and me doing all sorts of petting and public displays of affection? No. Because we like our privacy and we like staying out of the damn gossip papers."
