"Hey Mouse," Kaelin said to the mouse as he pulled it out of his pocket and set the mouse on his shoulder, "I take it you don't like the snow, well if dad keeps his threats then I can join you and think of all the fun we can have."

"Everything but Kaelin from the looks of it." Mali had to comment in disbelief as Kaelin continued to play with the mouse. "Just where did you find that thing anyways?"

"At Alfea, in your office." Kaelin commented, providing the mouse with a little bit of cheese to eat. "He looked hungery so I fed him."

"Perhaps he can talk with our mouse and find out why it's lived this long." Mali softly suggested, as she eyed the mouse.

"And thankfully, we don't have to give her or our daughter a princess ball. I shudder to think of all the chaos resulting from that."

: "And don't worry, little princess," he said, fluffing his daughter's hair. "We're not holding one. Besides, you and m'lady Christine are off the market, since Prince Eris-an seems to fancy you, and since m'lady Christine is seriously involved with Prince Sky."
