"Yes, distance." Meriditha said pleased that she was understood. "One here, one at boy school, left pixie school?" Meriditha asked curious to know the answer but at the same time not wanting to know.

"Fit in hand?" Meriditha repeated, that was awfully small. "Why we call fairy, pixie?" Meriditha asked not sure what the significance of the fairy being called a pixie ment.

"Calling fairies pixies is offensive to fairies and pixies. So since fairies and witches are, basically, enemies, witches offend the fairies to get them a little distracted. Or something like that," Discorda said. "Oh yes, as for me fitting in your hand, pixies are quite small."
She flew down into Meriditha's hands and said, "Pixies are quite small indeed."

Raising her other hand Meriditha, ran her fingers over the pixie in her hand, wow she really was tiny. "Offen ... offensive?" Meriditha asked, this was a new word to her.
