A look of concern entering his blue eyes, Sky frowned as he gently tipped Christine's chin up so that he could look at her more closely. Quietly, he asked as he smoothed back a stray tear from her face with his thumb, "What are you afraid of, Chris?"

Christine just collapsed against him, crying softly. "I'm just scared that things are going to happen and neither of us are going to walk away unscathed. I'm just so scared that one day I'll wake up and something will be very very wrong," she whimpered, clutching a fold in his shirt. "I can already sense the darkness returning and I'm... 'm af'aid." She didn't care if she left wet spots on his shirt, she just need him to hold her, to comfort her.

Wrapping his arms around Christine and slowly running his hands up and down her back to soothe her, Sky felt a frown cross his face. Darkness returning? Had she had another vision that she hadn't informed him of? Did this have something to do with Darkar? Dear god, he hoped not. That creature had wreaked enough havoc on all of their lives and if that disgusting thing thought for one moment that he was going to do it again, he was sorely mistaken.
After several long moments more, Sky breathed a silent sigh of relief when Christine's tears seemed to be subsiding. Pressing a soft kiss against her lips, Sky then rested his forehead against hers as he said quietly, "Whatever happens, we'll get through it. I promise."

"I believe you," she whispered, tears still forming in her eyes. "I believe you." She just clung tight. "So, it's okay if Lady stays with me, right?" She just needed something to make her feel safe.

Pressing another brief kiss to Christine's lips, Sky nodded as he said warmly, hoping that he had indeed comforted her with his promise, "Of course; I'm sure she'll love spending the night with you."

Christine clung to him, feeling safe again. "So, maybe we could go to dinner before we go back? I need something to get my mind off.." her voice trailed off and she tapped her temple, silently saying what she couldn't get out.

"Dinner would be wonderful," Sky replied. Even though, honestly, he wasn't very hungry, at that moment, Sky was more than willing to do anything to ensure that Christine didn't have to think about any of those thoughts that had clearly disturbed her immensely.

She silently mouthed a thank you, and let him lead her to some place where they could eat. She was starving and anything that could distract her from the visions would be great. That and distract her from the pain in her heart.
