Eris-an looked like he wanted to argue but Kevyn's hand on his shoulder stopped him.

"She's right Eris-an." Kevyn told him, "You have your people to think about. They've already lost one prince, they'll be devastated to lose another. Think about what kind of shape our planet would be in if there was no one to inherit your fathers Crown."

"Of course you are right as usual My Lady." He finally relented, not liking it one bit though. "Forgive me Tash. This is your problem, I had no cause to intrude upon it." He bowed slightly. "I should go now, you have a lot of planning to do and I should not interfere. I will send Kaelin and Quinn your way when I see them." Eris-an turned to leave, "Good luck and be mindful of those ribs Tash."

Why did she feel guilty all of a sudden? Tash thought before sighing. "Ris, your not intruding. I'm just not used to people offering to help and I don't want to see you hurt." Tash admitted as she ran a hand through her hair.

Eris-an nodded, "What do you care if I'm hurt or not?" he asked her, "You've never been subtle about how you feel about me Tash. I would think it wouldn't matter." he continued bluntly, ignoring Kevyn's gasp.

"Listen here," Tash ordered as she stalked up to him. Standing no more then a couple of inches away she met his gaze. "Your human, and that alone is more then enough reason for it to matter if you got hurt. But as for where my feelings for you fall into this, they don't." Tash blazed on, getting more then a little annoyed at the moment. "So I'm not the nicest person to be around, but then you know that and your rather fond of reminding me of that little detail. And maybe, just maybe; I find it easier to act like a witch then to admit I actually like you." Tash blazed by this point she was furious, to think that he thought that she wouldn't care if something happened to him, she was the daughter of a healer that alone should have been a clue that wasn't going to fly. "Was that what you wanted to hear?" She hissed before brushing past him and stalking down the hall.
Tash dimly heard the sound of footsteps behind her but didn't turn to see who it was.

Eris-an watched Tash walk away for a minute "Damn woman." He said before stalking after her, his temper in full fire. Catching up with her he spun her around and pinned her to the wall with his arms on either side of her. "Now it is time for you to listen to me." He started, ignoring the guilty feeling at her injured look, "Just as I seem fond of reminding you about certain facts do not forget that you to have NEVER hidden your thoughts of me. You seem to think that Kevyn is the only reason that I tolerate you but I can assure you she is not. I like you to Hachi Tashii and...." He stepped back cutting off the end of that sentence as his temper spent itself and rational thought returned.
Seeing her slightly hunched form he sighed, "I am sorry I lost my temper, I should never have grabbed you like that, forgive me." he bowed again, turning away. "And for the record Hachi Tashii, I like you to." he called back as he continued down the hall.

Kevyn watched the exchange wide-eyed. She never seen Eris-an show so much emotion before, even their argument had paled in comparison to this, he had to have had that bottled up a long time. Letting the exchange play out, mostly because she really didn't want to get between them if it came to blows, she approached Tash after he left. She whistled "Congrats Tash, you wanted him to show more emotion and you succeded." shaking her head, "Only you would use anger to get someone to open up." Kevyn teased, "You gonna be ok?"

Blank blankly stared after him for a second before she realized that Kevyn was talking to her. "Huh? I'm fine." Tash responded a little distractedly. She never met someone quite so irritating as he was. Shaking her head trying to clear away the events that just happened she turned to Kevyn. "Come on, I want to look at a couple of things before I go to the shadow haunts." Tash said, focusing on the events ahead the best she could with the events that just happened playing though her mind.

"Yeah sure." Kevyn followed her friend, only briefly considering going after the irate Prince. But deciding against it, she needed time to think before she faced him alone again and judging by the look on Eris-an's face so did he.

"What exactly happened to the two of you while I was MIA?" Tash asked, figuring that would be a good place to figure out what the hell just happened.

"We had a little fight is all." Kevyn said, at the look on Tash's face she continued, "OK a big fight." she relented.

"About what? Because I know I've pissed him off before but I've never gotten a reaction like this." Tash siad, the mornings events still running through her head.

"Our marriage." Kevyn sighed, not really willing to continue.

"Huh? When did that go from being something Eris-an wanted to reality." Tash inquired, more then a little baffled over this one.
