Moving her hand before Psi could grab it, "Grabbing isn't nice, you have to ask." Tash said as she realized exactly what had his attention. That blasted ring. Tash had continued to wear the ring because of the history, she didn't want to loose it before she could return it. Relenting a little Tash let the boy see her hand, "Pretty isn't it, it looks just like the one your Grandmother has doesn't it?" Tash asked bending the truth a little because she didn't want to upset the child.

Psi's eyes stared at the ring. "It is... Grammys ring!" He near screamed, he knew that ring from anywhere, when his grammy would come to visit, and he would sit at the feet of her rocking chair, telling him stories while she did some new needle work or some such. His eyes filled with tears, he couldn't stand this anymore, everything here was strange, and reminded him of home just enough to hurt so much. He took off from the room, nearly running into the door, but managing to get it open just in time to bolt down the hallway.

"Stay here." Kaelin ordered to his sister, "I don't want to have to go looking for you again either." Kaelin continued as he walked out the door, he couldn't leave a child wondering the halls of Red Fountain it just wasn't safe for the Shrimp.

Psi had decided to go back to that other place, the place of nice girls that liked him. They weren't at all scary or confusing. He liked it over there better too. Remembing a little from his last trip he was soon sailing out the door of red fountain, heading into the forest.

"I don't think Kaelin is going to be able to find Psi in Red Fountain by himself and Psi is a distraught tyke at the moment. I promise I won't leave Red Fountain until we have all talked." Tash said trying to push Quinn out the door to help look for the kid.

Once Quinn had disappeared down the hall, Tash slipped out and went the other way. She wouldn't leave Red Fountain like she promised but she wasn't staying in that room.

Psi soon found himself once again lost in the large forest, surounded by the trees. This time he couldn't find the other place, or the way out. He felt even more afraid, confused, and upset than he had since he found himself in this new place. Sitting down under a tree, he fought the urge to cry.

Darkar stood in the middle of the forests between the two schools casting a spell for the pixies who had continued to alude his grasp. It was only a matter of time till one of those bugs flew into his traps and became one of his creatures, and once he has the bug it would be short work until he had the last codex. It was a pity that when a person wanted something done right they had to do it themselves.
As that last spell came to a close, Darkar chuckled in glee at his handy work. Now all he had to do was find something to keep him amused until a pixie fell into his spell. But what to do....

Psi had picked near by to sit under the tree, his resolve to not cry broke easily and the poor boy found himself crying again, not caring anymore to be seen as a big boy, he just wanted to go home.

What was that sound that Darkar heard it sounded like a child, the innocent were the most fun to convert and eventually destroy from their fear. Moving closer to where the child was Darkar stayed out of sight and let the kids imagination do the work for the moment at least. "Now what do we have here?" Darkar said as his voice rang out around young Psi.

Stepping around the tree Darkar leaned down and said 'Boo' to the kid, sometimes the simplest things worked the best.

Poor little Psi looked up quickly, screemed and took off running into the forest, his heart just pounding hard, he felt so terrified, but.. why did he have the sudden feeling he knew the face. What was this swimming in his head as he slid to his knees, crying again, tired of being scared and alone

Darkar just laughed, well that was amusing while it lasted. He was willing to bet that that poor little baby was going to have nightmares after that little event.
