A What?

Tash had stayed at the hotel for a couple of days after the sudden flooding of memories, memories that confused her a great deal. Most of the memories were very similar to her own memories but seemed to take place in a different location altogether. She didn't know what to think about the memories. All she knew was that after the afternoon Psi found her in the forest, she only had one set of memories. For everything before that she had two. One thing she was sure of was that Psi was at the center of this and she wanted answers but after a couple of days and no Psi in sight, Tash was livid to say the least. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Tash went in hunt for the truth. Which of her memories were the true ones. There was one memory in the batch that reminded her of the little pixietails now residing in her hair. A girl at the school for heroics, Christine, had one a rabbit that was sitting on a wolf? The memory was a little confusing still but it was a place to start perhaps if this one was true then the others would be. Tash didn't want to get her hopes up about the other memories until she knew for sure.

~At Christine's Door~

Tash stood outside a dorm room at Red Fountain, in one of the memories she had been here before this was where Christine lived. Tash hoped that Christine would be able to help her.Lightly knocking on the door Tash waited for a response.

[Chris Strongheart]

"Comingix!" a small voice chimed.

"'Beauty," Christine sighed as she grabbed the pixietail by the tail. "You know better." She opened the door and smiled at the girl on the other side. "Tash. You better have a good explanation as to why I haven't been able to reach you. You had me worried sick, girlfriend."

[tashii]

Well Christine knew who Tash was so these memories were her's in some way, "Hell, I'm not sure I have an explanation much less a good one. Actually that's why I'm here I'm hoping you can help me start to straighten this all out." Tash said as she slipped into Christine's room, she really didn't want to have this conversation in the hallway.

[Chris Strongheart]

Christine closed the door behind her and settled on the floor - indicating that Tash could sit on the bed. "Okay, shoot. What's wrong?"

[tashii]

"Before I tell you, would you tell me how we met and what you know about my life before we met? I'll explain what I know in a minute." Tash wanted to hear what Christine knew about her without knowing about the double set of memories.

[Chris Strongheart]

Christine arched a thin eyebrow. "Oookay, before I start, I have to ask. What happened? Crack your head and get mild amnesia?" she asked. "Okay, it was, gah, start of this term. Towards the start of this term. I was in mid sob session because I accidentally bobbled a spell and you helped calm me down. We've been friends since then." She tilted her head. "Your twin brother attends here and your mother teaches at Alfea. Ah, what else. Oh, yeah, you complained that you never met your father or never had a real place to call home."

[tashii]

"Amnesia, I wish." Tash sighed, before starting to explain, "The problem is I suddenly seem to have two sets of memories and I didn't know which set were mine. But from what you said I now have a pretty good idea that the ones that I just got are my real ones. The other set of memories has me growing up on Muna with a mother and a dead brother." Tash stopped not sure how Christine was going to take this.

[Chris Strongheart]

"Say what?!" Christine cried. "As far as I know, Kae, that would be your twin, is very much alive and well." She sighed before her eyes glanced up and spotted something. "Is.. is that what I think it is?" she asked.

[tashii]

"These thing?" Tash asked as she poked one, trying to wake it up. It was a change normally she liked it when they slept or hid. "They showed up on Muna and informed me they were to take me to Lady. Who's Lady?" Tash asked as the one she had been poking finally surfaced. Less then pleased that it's nap had been interrupted PixieDream started to expressed her annoyance.

[Chris Strongheart]

Christine sheepishly blushed. "Right here. I'm Lady. Well, Lady Christine Strongheart, if one must be accurate."

[tashii]

When PixieDream heard Lady's voice, she stopped her chatter and looked over, "Lady, we found her for youix."

Tash was feeling relieved that finding Lady had not been all that difficult. "So now that we have found you, do I get to hand them over?"

[Chris Strongheart]

"Wish you could, but, uh.. they're kind of bonded to you since well... you are technically one of my "ladies in waiting" or some such bullhonkery," Christine said, looking a bit sheepish. "May I see one?" she asked, reaching over to take PixieDream.

[tashii]

"Why me? I'm sure there are thousands of people better suited." Tash asked she already had enough on her plate as the expession went.

[Chris Strongheart]

"Uh.. well... it's like this..." she started before sighing. "It turns out that... uh... we a) found your father, and b) he's my father's former brother in law which makes you, in a sense... my cousin... And the pixietails only go to the people who'd make up the royal court. He, uh, told me that." She only hoped that Kae wouldn't mind Chris breaking the news to his sister. "Last I heard he was staying at Alfea in your mother's dorm."

[tashii]

"Huh?" Tash asked before feeling herself become emotionally detached from all of this until she understood what was going on. "Your saying that because my father is the brother in law to your father, I'm part of your court?" Tash decided to deal with one thing at a time and right now she was still working on the pixietails that and she wasn't ready to deal with the sudden appearance of her father would mean.
