"They are cute. They must be very mischievous." Tash grinned.
OCC: I know what they look like, but she never got to see one before.

OOC: yeah, but I doubt Sky knows what they look like
"Oh, you have no idea," Christine laughed. She sighed and then groaned as the little pixietail slipped out of her hair and made its way over to Sky and sat down on the muzzle.

"And that is probably not the best thing for Sky to see when he wakes up." Tash grinned. "I like them."

"They're cute but entirely trouble," Christine said, shaking her head carefully. She leaned forward and grabbed the rabbit's tail and gently lifted it off Sky's muzzle. "I don't want him eating you."

"I have a brother that is nothing but trouble. So I do know what that is like. So now that your latest perch has been taken from you where will you be hiding now?" Tash asked, wondering what was going through the mind of such a creature.

The pixie tail pondered for a long time before zipping back into Christine's hair. "And my mother wondered why I wanted short hair," Christine said blandly.
OOC: would anyone in this thread be opposed to advancing this a few hours?

"Oh come on, this way you will always have friends and a fair amount of amusement, as I think they would be rather troublesome." Tash had to smile.
OCC: Fast forward it is.

Christine stirred and shifted in her spot next to Sky. "Remind me never to fall asleep sitting up again. Ow," she murmured, feeling her injured ankle voice its protest about moving. She glanced down at the wolf and smiled. "You are handsome, ma bête," she whispered quietly.

Glancing up to see Christine awake, Tash just settled back down to what she was doing. They could talk and she would not interupt. Thinking that the ow was just for how she had been sleeping Tash left it.

"Remember when we were children and you scared that pack of wolves off?" she asked him quietly, not knowing if he heard her. "That had to be the most amazing thing I've seen you done." She stroked the fur on his back. "I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't been there to save me. You've always been my hero..."
She silently wished that he'd wake up and let her know he was okay, since she was so worried about him - she was afraid to think about the alternative. "Sky, I wish you'd wake up. I'm so worried about you." Her eyes welled up with tears and several fell on his fur.

Feeling something wet fall against his body, Sky shifted uncomfortably as he slowly came to. Raising his head, his vision cleared and before him he saw Christine, looking rather sad. Momentarily forgetting that he was a wolf, he asked concernedly, not realizing that he probably shouldn't be able to talk, "What's wrong? Has something happened?"

Christine gave a small squeak when he spoke. "Well, that's new, ma bête," she said quietly. "You never spoke before while in your wolf form. At least, not to my knowledge," she admitted. She bit her lower lip. "I'm sorry I fought with you, ma bête."

Realization dawning in his eyes, Sky flinched and turned away from Christine. He had forgotten the fight for the moment - forgotten that he was cursed. For a moment he had been just himself, but now . . . now he was this beast. He couldn't stand it - couldn't stand the way she looked at him with something akin to pity. He was prince for goodness sake; he didn't need anyone's pity.
With his back still to her, Sky replied tersely, "We fought. Obviously that means something. Saying 'sorry' doesn't mean anything, at least not really."

"It was a stupid fight and you know it," Christine spat back at him. "It's all the stress of the gossip papers. God, how'd we end up headline news?"
