OOC: following the events in this: Christine sat away from the other members in the group as they watched Gorbash sleep. Thankfully, she had had the prescence of mind when discussing dragon stuff with Cordatorta that one resting area had a hoarde - a large pile of gold stuff. Tears streaked down her face as she silently wept. What an utter mess. She never should have tried the removal spell - but there was no other way. Gorbash possibly wouldn't have gotten there in time. If only she had remembered the rest of the words and hadn't rushed through it. She didn't look at the others, didn't want to look at the others. Hopefully, Sky would be found and everything would be okay. Now, more then ever, she wished she was home, or at least that her mother was here so she could bury her face in her mother's lap and have a good cry. She buried her face in her hands and let out a few whimpers and sobs. The sound of footsteps approaching her caused her to raise her head and look tearfully up at whoever stood in front of her.

OCC: this is seems entertaining I want to take a crack at it.
What the hell, thought Tashii as she heard voices coming into the dragon resting area. “It is normally empty at this time of day. What happened?” She wondered to herself.
Waiting quietly to see if they would leave.
After a while she realized that they were not going anywhere.
“Oh well” she sighed to herself, “time to put my dismal acting skills to the test.” Taking a deep breath she turned around the corner and started to walk out as if it were an ordinary thing for a teen age girl to be walking through the pens. Two-thirds of the way to the group she saw a boy sitting off by himself. As he glanced up when she approached she saw that he was crying. “Damn” muttering as she walked over to the boy and dropped down beside him before he could do more than blink.
“So boyo, what is the problem?"

"I botched a spell," Chris answered in a quiet, clearly feminine voice. "Sky's who knows where. He could be in Boston, London, on the moon for all we know. I never should have tried the spell. But it was the only thing I could think of. Only thing I could do," she whispered.
She couldn't help but cry. "All my fault."

OCC: don't suppose that it would help if I posted on the right page.
“No, it’s not all your fault.” Tashii firmly stated to the girl, * A Girl? Let’s put that bit of information aside and will deal with it later. Damn I almost wish that she was really a boy. They are so much easier to deal with.*
Reaching out to the girl and putting an arm around her.
“Darlin’, first of all was Sky not one of the boyo’s that went to Sparks and saved what’s her face, that Bloom girl. If he can handle that then he can handle almost anything. Besides Earth isn’t that bad of a place to be stranded. If you remember what you said during the spell then there may be a way to reverse the spell or at least find him.... " Pausing for a second. "As far as I know only the power of thirteen is everlasting all the other spells can broken, they just take time.” Letting that last bit sink in Tashii just sat with her arm around the girl’s shoulder. Knowing that only time would lessen the guilt.

"I don't even know what I did in the first place," she whispered. "I just.. I.. got maybe the first part of the spell out before I discovered that there was no time to finish the spell so I just slapped the ending on." Tears continued to spill down her cheeks. OOC: editted because, well, she did say more then three words Thank you Gorbash085! ::waves to the LJ user who provided the spell::

"Well let's start with what you remember. Start at the beginning and tell me everything that you remember and what you think might have happened to him." Glancing at the girl. "before you tell me that it is a long story... either get comfortable here or lets go find someplace that we will not be overheard."

"At this point? I just don't care," she said in reference to the second question about whether or not they should move in order to not be overheard. "As Grandpapa Carolinus would say, it's best to start at the beginning." She sighed quietly.
"Everyone thinks my name is simply Chris Strongheart, well, it's not. It's Christine," she admitted, still speaking in the same quiet tone. "I'm a child of different realms, long story there, I'll tell that tale at a later date. Anyway," she said, pausing to look over at Gorbash. "I was homesick so I sent a message to my family that I missed them. My uncle," she said, gesturing over at Gorbash, never thinking that Sky could be inside him, "came to visit but..." Her voice trailed off for a moment.
"Breog came as well. I don't understand it - Breog was supposed to have been killed, years upon years ago, before I was even a thought in my parents' heads." She paused a moment and looked away. "Breog started to fight Gorbash and we, the others and I, were called to get the dragons under control. To make a long story short, too late I know, Breog grabbed Sky and flew up and made move to drop him, which he did. Gorbash flew up to try and grab Sky. I started to cast the removal spell, saw that there was no time and slapped the ending on. I didn't have time to cast the whole thing, even if I remembered it. Next thing we know, Sky's gone and Gorbash suddenly forgets how to fly and crashes into the ground. He's been sleeping since... and that's exactly where we stand."
Christine paused for a long moment. "I can't even begin to guess what could have happened." Even if she did, the whole idea was absolutely insane. Really, she couldn't have merged Sky with Gorbash. The whole concept was so... illogical.

OOC: taking the liberty of having you nod your head yes to my first question. If bad let me know.
“Hello Chris, I’m Hachi Tashii but just call me Tash. Now that we have been introduced lets get to work and find a way to get Sky back.” Pausing for moment, letting the information sink in of what Chris had told her and putting things in a time line.
Then suddenly Tash piped up “So your uncle, who is a dragon, just suddenly forgot how to fly?” at a small nod from Chris. “I don’t remember much about dragons.” She said to Chris before mttering “will have to look up more info on them.” Looking back at Chris “do dragons not have a much longer life span then humans? As well as having astounding memories?”

"What your proposing is not logical," Christine said, looking at her. "Sky could not have gotten merged with Gorbash! He just couldn't have," she said, weakly protesting. Because if that was the case then she made a bigger mess of things then she had originally thought. Now more then ever she wished she was home, with her mother and her face buried in her mother's lap while she wept bitter tears.

OCC: You can do impossible things if you follow you heart. Sorry had to get that out or would be singing it all day.
“Had not thought of that, but now that you say that, it is very much so possible. But lets make sure first. The best way to do that is to wait for Gorbash to wake up. And,” glancing at Chris with a wince, “when you bungle up a spell then anything can happen. Especially when you just throw on an ending.” Looking around with a twinkle in her eye. “Besides, as you should know, what is logical to you is not always logical to others. I mean how many other people get to call a dragon, Uncle? Excluding the Loänan but then their blood is so mixed that they are now only descendants of dragons.”

OOC: uh, that would be your cue, Sky. ::hinthint::
Christine gave a wince at the reminder that she simply slapped the ending on due to the lack of time and remembering the words. She didn't think she'd mess up that badly. "Well, we can add my name to the list of people screwed up the spell. Uh, that would be Grandpapa Carolinus."
She gave a faint smile. "Fairy tales have nothing on my family."

Sky groaned and tried to get up. Too bad his body didn't agree, as all he did was roll over. Damn, his back hurt like hell. He opened his eyes and saw the ceiling, but didn't bother to check himself for any damage. Something he should have done.
"Ookay, that was one heck of a party. Erm... Someone get me up?" He asked, trying to figure out why he felt so heavy.

Chris had turned her head when she heard her Uncle speak. "Uncle Gorbash?" she asked in a timid whisper. "Are you okay?" She was going to put the whole idea that Sky had been merged with Gorbash into some tiny corner of her mind until proven otherwise. She gracefully rose and twirled around, the movement would have been more suited for someone wearing a dress.
She slowly walked over and knelt down by the dragon's head, her touch warm and gentle as she believed it was simply her uncle and not the prince merged with him. "I warned you that you were getting to old to take part in the mating dance, Uncle Gorbash." The gibe was affectionate in its tone.

Sky looked at the girl as if she was an alien. "Uncle Gorbash? What are you talking about? It's me, Sky!" He waved his hand, only to see a claw appear. His eyes went wide and his mouth fell open.

Brandon had been sitting on the floor and just thinking to himself. Where the heck had Sky gone to? It's not as if princes dissapear in thin air. And he stared at the two girls... At least, one of them should be a girl... Wasn't he? Brandon was confused. He had heard that scream... But if she is a girl, what is she doing here, at Red Fountain?
And what was with that dragon? He didn't much like the look of it. And when it moved, he was sure to stay on his place. He didn't want a bigger mess.
