Cora tipped her head to the side, staring at Flora with critical eyes, a wry smile spreading across her face. So this girl had fallen for her dear friend - interesting. That was the only word that she could think of to describe Flora's obvious crush on Lenwë; after all, the girl could be no more than seventeen or eighteen and Lenwë was nearing thirty . . . it didn't seem like either party would have much in common with the other. But what did she know about love?
Brushing aside her thoughts, she replied, knowing that her answer was as cliche as they came, "Well, we all feel that way sometimes, but you simply must overcome it. Somehow."

Glancing up at Palladium for a split second, Cora then returned her gaze to Flora. Her voice still in the same neutral tone, she replied, "It's forgotten."

Flora gave a small weak smile and winced as her mother put the healing remedy on her legs. It did numb the pain but she could still feel a faint trace of the fire burning them. "So.. what do we do now?"
OOC: well for starters, we're not in Flora's home realm, we're in Palladium's and... well.. this is rather a private thread >.>

Palladium furrowed his brow as he thought. "Well, for today . . . I think it might be best for all of us to just rest. There isn't much else we can do, besides getting you something to eat and a place to rest." Looking down at Flora's wounds, he added, "I think it would be wise for you to stay in Athryell, at least for tonight, if you still wish to return home. I don't think you're well enough to travel back to Linphea." Nodding firmly, he added, "We'll go to my father's cottage; it'll be empty as he went to Dagmar with Cora's father but that way, Flora and you," Palladium looked at Wysteria, "will have a bed to sleep in. You may take my old bedroom and I will take my father's.

Flora's cheeks immediately went crimson at that thought and she struggled to get herself composed. The fact that she was going to be sleeping his bed sounded well..... She really needed to get her hormones in check. "That indeed sounds like a plan," she said quietly.

Cora's lips twitched as she did her best to restrain her laughter as she watched Flora turn bright red in an obvious response to Lenwë's statement that she would sleep in his old bed. But that wasn't even what struck her as hilarious; what she found purely comedic was the fact that Lenwë seemed oblivious to it all. Cora smiled to herself; yes, that certainly was her Lenwë - so endearingly naive.

Flora just simply continued to blush. Oh, my, she was never going to stop blushing from what he said. Oh my, well, at least she couldn't snoop due to her lack of vision but it was going to be odd. Very odd.

"Yes, well, there isn't much we can do here any longer, so shall we relocate to the cottage now," Palladium asked to no one in particular.

Flora nodded. "That sounds like a good idea," she said. "I have to ask... can you show me the layout of the house when we get there, just so I don't trip and hurt myself?"

Palladium nodded, "Of course. Fortunately, it's a relatively small place, so you won't have to worry about getting too lost, I would imagine."
Clearing his throat, he looked at Wysteria and added, "If you would guide Flora to my father's cottage, I'll be able to help Cora." Seeing his friend about to protest, he chided, "Don't even think about arguing; I can see very well that you're limping and because I don't think it is healthy for you to put your weight on that foot, you're going to lean on me. I'll not take 'no' for an answer."
"Now then, are we ready?" Palladium asked lightly.
OOC: Do you want to jump ahead to the cottage now?

"Thank you," Flora said quietly. She was still blushing and was grateful that he didn't comment on the blush. OOC: oh, let's

Arriving at his father's cottage, the cottage that had also been his only home until a little over a year ago when he had taken his position at Alfea, Palladium couldn't help but smile. It was good to be back in Athryell, but it was even better to be back in this home. Immediately, a flood of memories came rushing back to him and he laughed warmly as he noticed that nothing had really changed, as always.
Turning to face Wysteria and Flora, he announced, "Well, this is it. I apologize if it is a bit cramped, but my father has the habit of collecting various souvenirs from all the places he visits and he has no other place to put them but around the house." Laughing, he added, "And because my father also doesn't have his vision, our home has become quite . . . eclectic." Elaborating, Palladium continued, "You see, he doesn't buy things based off of the way they look, but the way they feel."

Flora nodded and slipped free of her mother's arm and silently explored the entrence, her right hand on the wall and her left hand reaching out, trying to get a literal feel for the room.

"If you would follow me," Palladium said to Wysteria, "I would be happy to show you to where you'll be sleeping." Glancing over at Flora he smiled and added, "Go ahead and continue exploring; nothing in this main room is particularly fragile and if you get too close to something, Cora will be able to warn you, won't you, Cora?" Cora nodded and replied succinctly, "Of course." "Well, then, that's settled," Palladium replied. After a moment, he bowed his head slightly to Wysteria and added, "Follow me, Mrs. Gallowglass."
