It was good to hear that they all were doing well. "What about the twins?" Mali asked not sure if the pause was a good thing or not.

: "Léon is a priest," Jules said, disbelief still clear in his voice. "Remember he wanted nothing to do with religion? Well, he's now a priest. Been one for close to six years now. As for his twin... Ah.. well... We haven't heard from her in years. She vanished - said something about wanting to explore some planet. Ah, Arus, I think. Don't know what happened to her since."

"Arus?" Mali thought about the planets that they had been to she didn't think that Arus was one of them, "I don't think we went to Arus. But Léon's a priest? What caused that, did Hélène's dissappearance have anything to do with it?" Mali asked.

: "It wasn't her disappearence that caused it, it was..." his voice trailed off at the all too painful memory. "Ariane named one of her girls after her..."

Reaching up and brushing his chocolate brown hair from his face, Mali didn't like the pain she saw there. "I'm sorry Jules, I didn't mean to bring up something so painful."

: "I know, Mali," he said, holding her closer. "It's just hard to believe she's dead. She was the glue of the family if you know what I mean." He just sat there for a long moment before starting to cry tears that hadn't been shed since his sister's death.

Wrapping her arms around Jules she held him close and just let him cry. She knew exactly what Jules ment when he said she was what held them together. After Jules's parents passed away, Jules and Celise took over raising their younger siblings.

: "I miss her, Mali. And seeing his daughter by Melisande... I keep seeing her in his daughter..." he whispered, his voice thick with grief. "And I think he sees her too."

"Of course you miss her, you always will. We all miss her that was just who she was. Once you met her you just fell in love with her sweetness. And Jules, my beloved, Celise will always be with you, you can't help but see her in things that remind you of her. But I don't think she would want you to grieve her death, she was always putting you all before herself, she would have and did give everything to keep those she loved safe." Mali quietly said not sure what she could say to make Jules feel less grief so she settled on what she knew of Celise from the short period of time they knew each other.

: "I guess you're right, Mali," he said quietly. "I just wish..." his voice trailed off and he held her tight. "I'm surprised Strongheart's still holding it together. I know he got remarried but..." He shook his head.

"I don't know how he does it either, I know very little about Christine's mother so I could only guess. Celise will always have a special place in his heart but perhaps Melisande fills the void that Celise left." Mali said not knowing what she would ever do if she never had Jules to come back to, yes she ran from anything that was from Lovelylocks but knowing that he was there had been a reassurance for her.

: "I suppose you're right. Although, she's just too prim and proper for me. At least Christine isn't as uptight."

"You are to much of a rouge for such a prim and proper lady thus she is with Strongheart not you." Mali pointed out with a laugh. "And with you for a relative I doubt Christine would be able to remain "uptight," and I'm willing to bet you may have had something to do with her love for Dragons and things a princess really shouldn't be into."

: "Joint effort. Her uncle, Sir Orin, had his hand in it too." He grinned. "Well, at least someone appreciates the rogue," he said, playfully nipping her neck.

"Nice to know your not entirely to blame for the corruption of the princess." Mali giggled as he nipped at her neck.
