OCC: I'm bored so anyone that play an instrument or sings can join. Actually any of yous that want to join have at it.
It was a beautiful warm Sunday afternoon, Tash decided that it would be a perfect day to spend it outside. Grabbing her violin she headed out the door.
Dropping her bag, Tash opened the case to her violin and started warming up before launching into Connaught Mands Rambles.
OCC2: For those of you that don't know Connaught Mands Rambles, it's a lively Celtic melody.

Sitting at the base of her favorite oak tree, Karina idly flipped through the pages of the latest volume of poetry she had purchased in a little specialty shop in Magix. This particular book had looked rather interesting in the store; although, Karina admitted with a sheepish laugh, what had probably attracted her to it was the pretty rose colored cover and not the actual content of the book. In fact, she hadn't even bothered to read any of the poems - which served her right for being superficial enough to judge a book by its cover. As it turned out, she hadn't gotten her money's worth for this particularly volume - the poetry was horrid.
With a good-humored smile, Karina put the book down beside her as she rested her head against the tree's trunk, her eyes unwittingly falling closed. Shortly thereafter, Karina heard a lovely sound drift into her ears; curious, she strained to hear what it could possibly be, but had no luck. Opening her eyes, Karina pushed herself up, grabbed her book off the ground and decided to amuse herself by following the sound.
As the sound grew louder, signifying that she was getting closer, Karina pushed a bit deeper into the woods and then gave a triumphant, happy laugh when she saw one of her classmates playing her violin. Not wanting to interrupt, Karina stood back a few feet and watched with a contented smile. Not fully able to resist the infectious beat, however, Karina soon found herself tapping her foot to the rhythm of the music.

Musa listened to someone playing her violin, and couldn't resist, but ask if she could play with her. She was enjoying the sound, and she really loved music. ''Hey, can I play as well?''

Tash who loved to play but didn't consider herself near good enough to play before or with other people was surprised to hear a voice. She had chosen out here because she thought no one else would come across her, but then she should have realized that as it was a beautiful day no one was going to stay locked up in the building all day.
"Sure, if you want to play go for it." Tash said, "What instrument are you playing today?"

''I like playing sax... But I like to sing to. So, I may play or sing or wathever makes you feel better.'' Said Musa, feeling that maybe the girl was feeling insecure or somehting about playing with other people.

"I wanna join!" Came a surprising male voice. Jac dropped down from a near by tree he was climbing. He had forgotten about a class again and went to the forest to play in the trees, when he heard the music, and came running.
Hanging on a branch by his knees he smiled happily at the girls. "Please please please can I join!" He asked, trying to get down, only succedding in landing face first in a pile of dirt and leaves

"Are you okay?" Tash asked moving closer to the boy that had just fallen on his face.

Jac jumped up smiling ever so happily. "That? I always fall on my face" He said. "But can I join you? Please!" he asked again, holding up the round clay thing he wore around his neck.

Tash was still a little worried about him but found his manner to be infectious. "Sure, You can join us. Is that perhaps an ..." Tash started snapping her fingers trying to remember the word for it, one of the musicians they traveled with for a while had something similar. "I want to say ocrana, but that's not right."

"Ocarina! Ocarina!" Jac said starting to play a short song "I love my Ocarina! My mother bought it for me!"

Tash smiled at the boy. "That's it, an Ocarina. Musa, do you think you could match your sax to his ocarina?" Now Tash wanted to know if they could pull off a set with such odd instruments, this was something she was used to.
Finally noticing the girl standing near by Tash waved her over, this was just like when she was traveling everyone gathered together for some fun. No talk of boys, clothing and the like just some good wholesome music.

Upon being discovered, Karina waved back as she walked closer to the small group that had congregated seemingly out of nowhere. With a sheepish smile, Karina said jokingly, "I'm afraid I don't play any music and I doubt that I can sing more than one note, but I can be a rather good groupie. And you know, a band just isn't a band without a good groupie."

"It's okay that you don't play but would you please explain to me what a groupie is?" Tash asked; not sure what to make of this new term.

Karina smiled as she replied, "Oh, it's just a silly term used to describe enthusiastic fans of music groups - although some people have the tendency to take that to the extreme. I know that when a band is really popular sometimes they get followed around and that jazz by raving fans - they pretty much look crazy. The fans, I mean." With a laugh, Karina added, "But don't worry, I'm not really the crazy stalker fan kind of person."

''Hum... Sure. I never tried, but... Sure! I guess I can!'' Musa said, answering to Tash, and looking at the boy. She wondered if he was fine? She also giggled lightly when Karina joked about being a groupie.
