"Ah," Jules answered, as if that explained everything.

"Warning though, Aunt Mali's room has offically been declared a 'Girl Only Zone'." Quinn shuddered.

Jules shuddered.

"So did Tash make it out before that happened?" Kaelin asked, knowing full well that if the others caught her, Tash would be dressing up for this.

Quinn grinned, "Nope. Surprisingly it was your mom that stopped her."

"I take it my daughter doesn't like to dress up."

"That's an understatment." Quinn snickered, "Tash will run like the Devil himself is on her heels if she even thinks someone is going to shove her in a dress."

Jules gave a hearty chuckle at that. "I take it she's a tomboy."

"Let me put it this way the only thing really girly about her is her hair and it's only as long as it is for two reasons. One mom won't let her cut it off and the second is it's long enough to tie back and in the morning she doesn't have to do anything to it to make it semi presentable." Kaelin added, snickering himself.

"So, I should start to worry if she goes feminine?"

Jules nodded. He paused a moment at the sound of footsteps. He pivoted slightly in his chair so he could glance over his shoulder. He slowly turned back and looked at his son and adoptive son. "Whatever you do, do not say anything about his appearence. This is the first time in forever that Strongheart isn't hiding." He only hoped the two wouldn't say anything cruel - Strongheart was taking a big risk, allowing strangers to see what Ravenwaves had done to him years ago.

After his comments to Prince Strongheart earlier, Kaelin was just about convinced that Strongheart wasn't going to show, Kaelin nodded his thanks for Strongheart appearance. "So since Mom's room has been declared girl's only for the next while, and I doubt we'll see them for a while.... A toast before you get yourself hitched again?" Kaelin suggested deciding not to say anything to the prince until Strongheart looked more comfortable being out in the open.

"At this rate, your mother would be wanting to skin both me and Strongheart alive. After all, we, ah, did show up drunk at the wedding the first time."
Strongheart gave a faint chuckle. "Only because you said if I was drunk I wouldn't feel the pain."
Jules looked at Strongheart. "She's your daughter and she has Celise's attitude. She'd look past the scars. Besides, she's got her own."
"Kaelin, what is your father talking about? What scars does my darling daughter have?"
