Athena nodded once. "I'm on my way back to Red Fountain. I just hope that the seer hasn't told Darkar where the Codex is or who knows what will happen." With that, Athena hastily zipped off, heading back to Red Fountain.

Seeing Athena fly away, Palladium walked over to where Cora was standing, concern reflected in his eyes. Stopping before her, he tilted his face down so that he could meet her downcast gaze as he gently asked, "How are you, Cora?" Upon receiving no response, he urged, "Please tell me that you are feeling somewhat better; you know how I cannot bear to see you ill and exhausted."

Hearing her friend's pleas, Cora lifted her eyes so that she could meet his gaze. "Tired. I am dreadfully tired. I feel as though at any moment I could curl up and sleep without waking up for months on end. But of course, I am exaggerating." Shrugging her shoulders almost imperceptibly, Cora continued, "I should be fine, Lenwë - especially if I could just sit down - I don't even need to sleep, really. I just need to get off my feet."

Berating himself mentally, Palladium replied simply, "Forgive me; I should have thought of that." Glancing around to see whether the coast was clear for him to leave, Palladium then offered Cora his arm as he whispered in her ear, "Come along; I'll have you set up with a place to relax and recoup in no time at all."
With that, Palladium smoothly guided Cora out of the dining room and led her down the hall toward the rooms habited by the staff, knowing that no one would disturb her if she was in his own suite.

Katy saw looked at the girl near her, saying something about a dance. She also saw... A pixie coming and leaving looking worried. The pixie went talking to teachers, so it probably was serious. Very serious.
Katy wanted to dance, but it something more serious was happening, and she was a bit curious to know what it was... There was a little voice in her head telling her to go check it out, and other voice telling her to stay in the party.
