"Hopefully, they'll find it," Flora said, letting him stroke her hair. "Perhaps our prince knows where the heart is. He's a bit more comptent then those witches."

"He certainly does seem to be more competent." Darkar admitted, he was not impressed by the witches. But he still had his uses for them so he would keep them for now.
Darkar studied the newest addition to his team. This boy would work wonderfully. Almost as well as Flora. Flora, what a horrid name for someone so powerful. Darkar would have to so something about that. Darkar continued to run his fingers through Flora's hair.
Since it did not look like Christine was having much luck on her vision for him. Darkar decided to pass the time by changing Flora's name but to what? Perhaps he would test this idea against Flora and see how she reacted. Yes that would work. "Enough about our Prince and now about you. I don't think the name Flora, suits you; it makes you seem sweet, cute, naïve, weak. You need a name that shows your beauty, power and strength. But what should it be?" Darkar mused aloud.

"Mother said that I reminded her of Demeter raging over Persephone's kidnapping when I had my first dark temper tantrum," she said, smiling at the memory. "If it pleases my lord, then I wish to be called Demeter. And failing that, if Demeter does not meet with your approval then Persephone could work."

"Demeter." Darkar thought the name over, "Yes, I think that Demeter would suit you perfectly. Demeter was absolutely stunning that day." Darkar remembered it with a half smile. "It will be a task to live up to that name but I believe that you will be able to do it if not even surpass her."

The newly christened Demeter lounged by her lord and master's side, content to have him play with her hair. She couldn't wait until her master could come up with something that would show those pathetic pixies and fairies his power. She glanced up at him through half opened eyes. "So, after Red Fountain, we attack Cloud Tower?"

"Yes, Demeter after we finish with Red Red Fountain we will move on to Cloud Tower but all in good time. We don't want to rush." Darkar said still watching Christine, yes better not rush now that he was getting close. He had waited centuries for this he was not going to lose it now. The more they rushed the more there would be mistakes. Darkar would not tolerate mistakes.

Christine's eyes opened, still glazed over - still lost in her vision. "There are four pixie elders guarding each Codex," she said quietly, her voice distant. "Ninphea in the village, Concorda in Alfea, Athena in Red Fountain, and Discorda in Cloud Tower."

"Tell me what you know about each one." Darkar demanded, any extra information that he could get the better his plan would work.

Christine's eyes closed again and struggled to see. A fine band of sweat formed on her forehead and her color went far paler then normal. A line of crimson formed at the corner of her mouth - a clear sign of strain on her body.

"Perhaps we should let her rest," Demeter ventured. "We don't want to kill her." She glanced over at the dark prince to see how he was reacting to his fairy girlfriend - or rather his ex fairy girlfriend. Was that concern reflecting in his blood red eyes?

"To true, Demeter. We would not want to kill her. Oh Prince, as your share all the memories of your host how did he get Christine to come out of her visions?" Darkar asked the only person in the room that would have any idea how to release the vision from Christine.

"You wish me to bring her back to reality?" Sky asked. "Very well, my lord." Taking several long strides over to where Christine was chained to the ground, Sky leaned down and harshly grabbed her by the shoulders, shaking her roughly. Laughing quietly under his breath, he murmured, "This should do the trick."

Christine's eyes remained glazed over and the line of crimson grew brighter. Her eyes closed and she dropped to the ground, seemingly lifeless. Her color was the same color as the white on his uniform.

Sky narrowed his eyes in irritation as the girl remained in her trance. Speaking to Christine, he muttered, "I'd hit you, but the master does not want you harmed any more than what is necessary. Unfortunately for me, this means that I cannot try out my added strength on you. It's a shame, really - I was so looking forward to seeing what things I can do that Sky could not even have fathomed doing in his wildest dreams." Rising to his feet, Sky shrugged apathetically as he turned to Flora and asked, "Don't you have some spell that can make her come to? I don't care to deal with her anymore - she bores me when she's in this state."

Demeter approached the girl and gently coaxed the seer out of her trance. She wrinkled her nose when she touched the blood that was pouring from the seer's mouth. "Tell me, Prince, did she ever get this bad after having a vision?"
