"Since my Grandfather signed the contracts." Kevyn said.

"Right, why'd he sign them?" Tash asked, knowing Donovan wouldn't do something that wasn't in the best interest of his grandchildren or something they would hate him for.

Kevyn sighed again, "Because I agreed to it." she admitted.

"Would you just tell me the whole story; I'm going to hear all the details anyways."

"Eris-an came to estate a while ago asking to offically court me. I agreed, after a while it seemed like I really could fall in love with him. So when he made his proposal I agreed." Kevyn explain, "I didn't exactly plan of falling in love with someone else and most certainly not with who I did." she sighed again, running a hand through her hair, "I told him, we fought about it. End of Story." she gave Tash of overview of it all.
"I really hurt him Tash. I didn't mean to but I just couldn't go against my heart." Kevyn said, putting her head down, feeling more then a little ashamed.

"Kev, if you did keep your agreement to marry Ris. You'd both be unhappy and miserable. And as much as you both would try and hide it before long. I'm betting you would hate each other for it." Tash softly said, as she carefully reached out and wrapped an arm around Kevyn. "You'll always see him as a friend and you don't want to loose that just because of a silly little thing called love. Personally, I think you did the right thing." Tash commented not sure what else to say, it wasn't like she had any experience with love.

Kevyn gave her a weak smile. "Thanks Tash, I hope I did."
"And while we're on that topic don't answer the phones for about 2 weeks." she told her friend.

"I think you did and one day, I think Ris will come to accept that your right. And why am I not answering the phone for two weeks. And which phones?"

"Any ones that my Grandfather might know the number to. I'm betting he'll be getting my letter by this afternoon and I can guarantee it's not going to be pretty."

"Great, that's only all of the phone's I have access to. Well this is one way to have a family reunion." Tash had to comment

"Not a way I would have preferred but it'll be un-avoidable now."

"You sent him a letter and this is not the way you would have preferred it?" Tash asked before laughing, "You could have always gone and seen him in person."

"That was the point of the letter." Kevyn smiled.

"Getting him to come here instead of you going there, nice."

Kevyn shrugged, "It's easier then all of us packing up and going home. Besides I want it somewhere neutral, there's going to be enough gossip as it is."
