: Flora took a step back and watched as the beast fell down, tripping over his own feet. "Oh, the poor beast fall down, go boom," she said in a sing-songy voice. She bent down and pet him on the top of his head. "We're so cute, yes we are." 'Does this please you, Master Darkar?' she thought, mentally grinning.

"Oh, yes Flora, you please me very much. As a reward. Icy is supposed to be bringing you a lovely gem for you to play with." Darkar replied to her thoughts.

: Flora mentally grinned. She couldn't believe that she used to fear this man. How could she fear anyone who was giving her a present?

OOC: why not - it's the same day as the dance and the more the merrier : She glanced at the professor, wondering what she could do to him. Definitely not a tree. And not a duck. Hm.. This was going to require a bit of thought.

Musa was nervous and confused. She wasn't in the mood to party, not anymore. All her friends looked confused, worried, sad... She wanted to do something to help then, but she thought that maybe, nervous like she was, she wouldn't help a lot.
So she decided walking around a little bit, while she listened to some music and get a little bit less nervous. She left the party, went quickly to her room to get her walkman, and now she was there, near the lake.
She didn't took long to see what looked to be... People and a monster? Musa decided rushing to see what it was.
OOC: Thanks! ^^'

: Flora slowly approached the good professor, stopping before him. "My dear, sweet professor," she purred. "Whatever shall I do with you?" she asked, drawing her finger down across her cheek. "I should do something utterly sinful." Her golden eyes sparkled with wicked promise. "I'd turn you into a tree but I want something that can talk back to me and well, a tree can't so you're spared that fate, for now." She glanced over at Brandon. "Oh, yes," she purred. "I could just see you like that." She tilted her head to the side as she thought. "But not exactly that - don't want you too similiar..."

Palladium stared at Flora, his eyes never once straying from hers. Almost as though he was trying to purposely provoke her, he replied nonchalantly, as though her words had no effect on him, "You cannot harm me, Flora. Granted, you are obviously stronger than you were a while ago, you remember don't you? When you were still sweet-natured Flora? Of course you remember. In any event, though you are stronger than her, your powers do not even begin to match mine. Your little spells, why they are child's play compared to what I could do to you if you should aggravate me. Remember, Flora, I am not a novice when it comes to magic and spells - I've studied it longer than you've been alive. Try to cast a spell on me and you'll regret it."

Flora laughed quietly. "Brave words, professor, but can you back them up? Can you bring yourself to hurt your precious little student?" she cooed. "Or, as Bloom would say, are you writing a check that you can't cash?" Her golden eyes closed part way. "You have no idea what I'm capable of, especially with the backing of a new friend," she grinned.

"You are right," Palladium replied quietly. "I do not wish to hurt Flora." Narrowing his eyes, he continued, his voice taking on a cold tone, "But you are not Flora. Not in the slightest. But should the occasion arise in which I need to defend myself, I will and will do so without hesitation. I will not tolerate your mind games. However, I will not be the first to attack; it is not my way to do so."

Musa ran to see... What looked like Flora, looking different and Palladium about to fight? Against the monster or... No, Musa thought, that was not possible, was it?
''What's happening?'' Musa asked herself. Maybe she should try finding out, or even asking. It looked as if there was something wrong there, but what?

"Mind games? What mind games? I'm not playing with your mind," she said quietly. "Unless you want me to play with your mind. And other parts of your body," she said in a breathy purr.

"I must say, whatever this behavior you are displaying is, it is quite unattractive," Palladium replied disdainfully, carefully masking his tense muscles that were prepared to react in a moment's notice should this thing try to attack him. "Although, I am certain that you find it to be just the opposite, am I not right?"

"Hardly," Flora said. "Just a simple mind game that you accused me of doing earlier," she added, grinning wryly. She made her way over to him and stole a kiss, a rather heated kiss before drawing back, laughing. "Don't worry, professor, there was no dark magic in that kiss - unless you want there to be."

Cursing under his breath, Palladium gritted his teeth. So she wasn't going to back down. So be it. If she wanted to play mind games, then he would too. Taking a step closer to the dark fairy, Palladium reached out and roughly pulled her into his arms, grazing his lips down her temple. Tilting her face up, he bent his head as though to kiss her, but at the last moment before their lips met, their breaths mingling, he turned his head and instead whispered in her ear, his voice almost taunting, "Two can play this game."
